On The Road for an Installation! – EP162

Andy
Yo, yo, yo, guys what is up welcome back to another episode of marijuana sa weekly today’s gonna be a little bit of a shorter episode and we just got to touch on that a bit of a information to you guys about what we do. I mean obviously we have the grow shop, but he’s going to bring you a little bit more information about certain circumstances where he he ends up on the ground with certain instals. And it’s been it’s quite exciting to be part of Dania, where you at the moment. So yeah, as everyone can see, I’m not coming in from the comfort of office I’m standing in for your hotel right now. But basically, myself and Luke are up in in Joburg at the moment in Pretoria. And what we are doing is we are installing a small r&d room, which a client of ours is going to use as a pilot project towards a larger facility, a legal software facility, which they’re busy. So basically, we are, you know, on the smaller and medium scale kinds of grows, it’s really easy to assist a client via the normal channels, you know, but when it gets to larger scale, there’s, you know, there’s things like the way that the lights are hung, where the dehumidifier needs to go, how the air conditioner needs to be installed, where the electrics needs to be run, and those kinds of things that, you know, it’s sometimes so much easier. And also, if you’re investing a lot of money, you don’t want to leave the risk factor, you know, so we work with this equipment every day, we you know, we’ve seen all the equipment that we sell, we’ve used all the equipment that we sell. And you know, that kind of knowledge is invaluable when you’re wanting to limit mistakes. So obviously, for this client, it’s he’s doing a serious r&d project, you know, he, they’re investing because they’re going to the legal route. And he wants to minimise the time and mistakes that could happen and doing things himself. So he’s obviously brought us in, we’re installing the room and getting everything up and running. After that period. Obviously, we leave it in his hands. But you know, by utilising things like the troll master, and putting in like an IP cam, a Wi Fi camera into the space, we’re going to actually have access to the data. So we will, you know, we are on the ground now for the instal and then in the future, we can run or assist. But you know, in order to get everything up and running originally and to make sure it’s professionally done, kind of make sense to to get someone in and that’s why we’ve come up to Joburg to Pretoria today, so yeah, pretty excited. It’s about like, you know, spotting the questions before they even answered birth spotting the answers to the questions before the questions are even asked, you know, my customers don’t often ask us like, Hey, what’s wrong with my you know, what’s wrong with this big like power adapter thing that I’m using was like 51 plugs. And it’s like, you know, there’s not normally a question they asked, but like the minute one of us sees something like that, we’ll be like, yo, where’s your surge protection at like, yo, yo this plugs way overloaded, you know, fire hazards, certain like things like that. And like position like these head positioning of like dehumidifiers and things like that, and lighting, like the layout of the lighting, we can kind of guide you on that remotely, but sometimes you won’t always notice like, nuances in the room specially you know, like is their flow or where the windows are or outlets like that maximising your ventilation so that you’re not wasting ducting, and things like that. And like all those little efficiencies, and of course, like, just setting up something like control Master isn’t isn’t easy. Usually, you’re gonna, you’re gonna spend a day figuring that out at least.

Exactly. And also, just like neatness factors, like where’s the best place to put the trauma roster? You know, if it’s a considerable amount of power being drawn, it would make sense to then plan the electrics correctly. So what we’ve done at this space is there’s, it’s eventually eventually the researcher is going to be run via solar. So we’ve had an electrician come in, they’ve run all the wiring for us that’s on its own DV board on its own earth leakage, high quality new plugs have been installed as well. And then, you know, basically that that was step one sort of planning out the room which is already taken place. And as soon as they’re done their work, then we will be then we will be finalising the space and basically leaving the client with a you know, a room that he can be confident in that he can take this pilot to his investors and drive the facility even harder, you know, and he really he’s an experienced guy Over, but he hasn’t grown in around 10 years. So he’s getting back into it now. And as someone who know, understands the complexities, he wanted to get the best and newest technology on the market in order to, you know, going 10 years ago, you didn’t have trauma masters and Nanolab Yeah, exactly remote logins and all those sorts of things. So you know, and also, like I said, we do this every day, this is, you know, where 99.5% of all my research goes into practical work as well. So, we, as we sort of work with our bigger clients, you know, I mean, all our clients are important to us, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes, you know, it’s just too high risk to put down a whole bunch of money and then to not know all the equipment so you want to make sure that you can turn it around as quickly as possible and be you know, use your sped up. Yeah, peace of mind for us. You know, we want to make sure that it’s being put to the best use, you’re getting the maximum use out of equipment, that stuff’s not cheap. So we really want to make sure that you’re getting your bang for your buck Dania did another cool video in the week with big trees, you want to give us a one minute 32nd summary on that just so the guys can maybe go ahead over there and have them listen as well object the video?

Dean
Yeah, so big trees. It’s a 30 minute interview I did with Jamie from dirty hands and Jamie abuse crews of absolute beauty and you’re gonna have to go check that video out for yourself. And basically, in the interview, we went through every single step in depth as to how he achieved it, and tips and tricks for someone who would want to achieve it for themselves. He averaged one kilogramme per plant. So if you want to do that next summer, I’d say go check out that video. Yeah, it’s a very very cool video if I

Andy
