50W of raw power, connecting 4 together is the same as a 200W grow light, as well as costs a fraction of the price.
This chips are super simple to wire as they requires NO SOLDERING. Simply connect up two wires, LIVE and NEUTRAL (into either port) and it is time to grow!
Building your own grow light:
- 4x 50W @ R120/chip = 200W @ R480.
- Source a HEATSINK as well as computer fans to cool chips down.
- Install an OPTICS LENS (R120) over the chip to focus light.

Description
50W COB LED – Solderless – (Blue/Red)
This 50W COB LED requires no soldering as well as being simple and easy to wire. Simply add a LIVE and NEUTRAL wire to either of the ports on the unit, making sure the wire are secure and you’re good to go.
These units are extremely powerful (90-100 PAR), as well as heating up quickly, therefore require active cooling to prevent them from burning out.

The use of a COB LED Optics Lens will help to spread the light more directly downwards.

Been using 2 x 50W COB LEDS for my first grow and would honestly recommend these lights as a starter for all new growers. Had great results with the lights and no issues. Used the Cooler Master I30 CPU Cooler for Intel LGA115x as the heat sync and have had no heating issues.
