Original Indica Afghan Landrace Feminized – Breeders Pack
Medical Indica strain known for its intense high and stoned feeling. Perfect for Insomnia and chronic pain.
The original Afghan genetics. Novice growers looking to try their hand at growing can try this strain as it offers little problems in the growing cycle.
Proven to be a resinous plant, good for extractions and hash making. Expect some pretty decent yields from this sturdy stabilized strain.
Training techniques like FIMING, LST, topping and ScroG netting have proven to increase yields via creating bushier plants with more colas. We suggest the use of a 20-30L pot for the roots to expand.
Genetics: Indica Afghan Landrace (100% Afghani)
Proven to be an intensely potent plant in flower, smelling of Old-School hashish. A carbon filter is recommended for indoor cultivation. Resistant to insects and molds, however keep an eye on it in the flowering stage. Buds may need to be supported in the flowering stage if grown outdoors.
The high is intense and 100% Indica. Offering a stoned and narcotic high that can easily make anyone ease into a deep sleep or just want to relax and chill out.
Medically this strain helps with insomnia, muscle aches, irritability, pain and nausea. Best enjoyed in the evening.

Afghan Original review
I purchased this product in 2022 from MSA, with harvest in April 2023. Having grown my own cannabis three years in a row, and having tried the strains listed below, I can’t sing the praises of this strain and brand enough. The reason for my glowing admiration of this brand is that no other strain I’ve tried is as excellent for sleep as this one. My chows agree, and my wife agrees too!
I became aware of its unusual sleep aiding properties only recently, when I began microdosing with 200 mg and now 400 mg psilocybin, taken a few times a week about
one to two hours after my nightly cannabis cookie composed of a mixture of THC and CBD extracted into ghee. Psilocybin gives me energy, and then I can’t sleep. However, with the aid of the Afghan Original, I sleep uninterrupted and my sleep quality score is typically over 90 percent! I tried various strains, but my sleep was intermittent with a low sleep quality score in every instance, until I tried the Afghan. The strains I tried that didn’t produce nearly the same excellent results, are:
OG Kush,
Tequila Sunrise,
Gorilla Glue
Blue Dream CBD (provides energy, not sleep)
Cookies R2 (provides energy, not sleep)
The Afghan Original doesn’t provide a couch lock or sleepy experience, except if one takes too much. Yet, when I want to sleep, sleep arrives almost instantly and I stay asleep.
I have discovered that Indica – the Afghan is 100 percent Indica – provides mg for mg a more intense high than any Sativa strains I have tried thus far. Therefore, one uses less Afghan than other strains to get the same effect. If I use the same amount, I become couch locked and fall asleep without fail! My wife has a similar experience with the cookies I made for her. The one variety provides an estimated 9 mg of Gorilla Glue per biscuit (not much, as my wife does not like the feeling of being high), while the Afghan containing ones only provide 5 mg THC per biscuit. My wife sleeps uninterrupted with the Afghan biscuits, but not with the Gorilla Glue, even though the latter also works generally quite well. She also says that the Afghan gives her a buzz, which she doesn’t experience with the higher THC content of the Gorilla Glue.
The Afghan high is pretty amazing, very relaxing and uplifting. I highly recommend this strain and will definitely be growing it again.
My yield on the dry bud, as measured, was 2 283 gram for two feminized plants, and the buds were amazingly dense and thick in size, even though the plants were grown outdoors. Even though the plants I grew this season (2023-2024) were much bigger than my Afghans of the preceding grow season, the Afghan buds appear denser and larger, with beautiful crystalline buds that have a boutique look and feel.
The only issue I had with the Afghans was a moldy one, but I managed to end my harvest with virtually no mold, though it took a lot of careful monitoring and repeated application of antifungal preparations to get there.
