Amnesia XL Feminized – Divine Seeds

The well known Sativa profile of Amnesia Haze, as well as its intense Indica aroma makes this strain a crowd favorite.

Genetics: Original Thai, Hawaiian, Afghani Landraces

Sativa dominant strains tend to express a longer flowering time compared to Indica strains. However, the Divine Seeds breeders have crossed multiple different phenotypes of the original lineage of Amnesia to produce this ‘XL’ version that promises to offer shorter flowering times.  Developed in a Canadian breeding ground, this hybrid offers a sturdier and more adaptive strain which has proven to do well in cooler, more humid areas.

An ideal strain for indoor, outdoor and hydroponic growing, therefore making this strain truly unique. Compared to other Haze varieties, as well as other Sativa strains this Amnesia is less “leafy”. Low Stress Training, Topping, ScroG and Sea of Green styles of growing make for the best yields. The size of the root zone for this strain does not limit the above ground growth, however a bit more feeding than usual will help produce larger plants in smaller containers.

Cultivation

This strain has been shown to enjoy a humid environment and the use of a humidifier could be needed. Due to the high humidity environment a powerful ventilation system and carbon filter will be a good investment.

Indoor cultivation of this strain will require switching to flower fairly quickly, as the stretch phase causes rapid growth, due to this overgrowing can occur. The buds pack on size quickly, are rich and aromatic, creating a highly inviting sweet lemon odor.

Outdoor cultivation will see a fast flowering time as well. Having a Sativa harvest near the time of an Indica is rare. Intense and beautiful aromas will emanate from your garden as the buds mature and the resin packs onto the leaves.
