CBG ZeroDue
CBG Zerodue is cannabis variety that is a cross between CBD Critical XXL and Italian Research Genetics, Incredibly high in CBG and low in THC, CBG Zerodue offers a new and exotic experience typically unobtainable from commercial seed.
THC levels below 0.2% and CBG levels as high as 9,18%, this is a total game changer for the medical community and for the breeding community since levels this high of CBG have virtually been impossible to obtain previously. This low amount of THC makes this cannabis legal nearly all over the world.
What is CBG?
Cannabigerol (CBG) is one of more than 120 identified cannabinoids found to be produced by cannabis and forms from CBGa, which is considered the parent molecule from which all other cannabinoids are synthesized by the plant. Because it typically constitutes only a very small portion of the cannabinoids found on a mature cannabis plant, it wasn’t until recently – and through extensive breeding – that high CBG cannabis seed became available.

My plant was 75 cm tall at harvest. This is a beautiful graceful marijuana plant that reminded me somehow of a flowering protea. It has an unusually beautiful leaf structure and finely grained, dense buds.
After a week of drying and a week of curing the buds I test vaped a small amount, about 350 mg, in my Storz & Bickel Crafty + , filling two Storz & Bickel aluminum capsules with the ground up bud. The taste was great: sweet, very unique, indescribable but subtle. I did this right before depilation using an electric epilator, on Sunday morning, 10 April 2022.
My subjective experience:
The pain relieving effect was immediate and very pronounced. I hardly felt the hair being plucked out. When I did feel it, the sensations were mild and easily bearable, feeling as if I was being lightly pinched.
An hour after vaping, walking my furry beauties, I felt a gentle, clear, soaring head high coming on. Although I felt a pronounced, blissful high, it did not blunt my intellect in any form or manner. My wife could clearly tell I was high, from my eyes, which she felt was a dead giveaway. Nevertheless, I did not feel any blunting or softening of my intellect, as usually felt with a high THC strain of marijuana.
Overall, the experience was very pleasant and lasted the usual 6 hours I am accustomed to.
My conclusion from this experience, the delay in the high and how the high arose, is that the CBG is very effective by itself for pain relief, more so than a pure CBD strain. I have also tried depilation with the Dutch Seed Company’s Charlottes Angel (a pure CBD strain), which while quite effective, wasn’t as effective at reducing the hair pulling sensations. On the other hand, while the CBG seems to be immediately available to the body, the delay in the head high, and the fact that there was any kind of head high, suggests that the CBG is further metabolized in the liver into a psychoactive substance, but not excessively.
Overall, this experience is definitely repeatable. I think it could be a great alternative for people who can’t handle the psychedelic effects of THC, yet would like to experience pronounced pain relief, while feeling very calm and happy. My next-door-neighbour is one of these people, so I intend to give him some to try, to see how he experiences this particular strain.
Should my experience change substantially, using this strain, or my neighbour’s experience be anything but pleasant, I will update this review further, or write a second review detailing these further experiences.
