Description
Montmorillonite Clay
The main ingredients of montmorillonite clay are sodium calcium aluminum magnesium silicate hydroxide. Montmorillonite or Calcium Bentonite is a clay amendment that is good in retaining water. While only having a small impact of the on feeding nutrients into your soil, it’s high water retention provides structure to very sandy soil.
Its can be added as both a dry amendment that you mix into your soil, or a dissolved liquid amendment that can simply be poured on top of your soil allowing for worms and other small living matter to mix it in for you.
Note: Do not use on clay or other heavy soils.

How to use:
Self made soils:
Clay would be used in the crafting of very sandy soil or Loam soil.
For this you would mix:
40% sand, 40% silt and 20% clay
