Purple Bud is, as its name would suggest, a member of the strikingly-coloured Purple family of cannabis. Purple Bud was created in Oregon where, along with California, there are many other strains displaying attractive colouration such as Purple Akala, Purple Oregon Sativa and, perhaps the most well-known of all, The Purps. These Purple strains are popular not only for their colourful appearance but also for a fruity flavour. Some of the US strains show pink and violet whereas those that have been developed in countries such as The Netherlands can be almost black due to the effect of a colder climate.

These seeds are ready to harvest in 9 Weeks in October. This Regular seed grows well in Greenhouse, Indoors, Outdoors conditions. This strain has Purple Skunk strain Genetics. It has a High THC Content of 15-20%. The CBD content of the strain is being determined.

Purple Bud shows distinct similarities to Skunk #1 in structure and growth pattern. Like Skunk #1 it is very easy to grow and has a flowering time of 9 weeks making it a good choice for outdoor cultivation in higher latitudes where it will be ready to harvest during the first half of October. It has a very nice cerebral effect.

Why regular seeds?

Natural germination by selective breeding of the best female plants with the best males, result in regular seeds. Regular seeds can be either male or female.

Manipulating a female plant into producing pollen to fertilize another female, produces feminized seeds. This manipulation can lead to an unstable strain, with a tendency for females to become a pollen producing hermaphrodite or more susceptible to mould or diseases. Regular F1 unaltered female seeds are preferred by connoisseurs, as the truest representation of that strain.
